About

I grew up in the small town of Shelby, NC where I spent my childhood rearranging doll house furniture, redoing my bedroom, and studying well-designed spaces in magazines. In 2003 I moved to Raleigh to study art, design, and interior design, and I've loved living in the Triangle ever since!

As an interior designer, I believe that your house is so much more than just the space where you live. Being intentional with the design of your home has a tremendous impact on your emotions, your sense of place and comfort, and your way of life.

I love helping clients to design their space in a way that fosters joy, while expressing the personality of their family. After becoming a mom to two incredible little girls, I realize even more the importance for families to have spaces that are both functional and beautiful. Combining my years of design expertise with 'mom know-how', I can help turn your space into something that is both elegant and fun, and ultimately, a space both you and your family will love!

I also enjoy helping clients through the selections involved in new construction and remodels. After going through the process of building my own home, I understand first-hand how daunting that can be. Having someone with experience there to help guide you through those decisions will relieve some of that stress while also helping you discover the design you're looking for.

When I'm not designing, I'm usually chasing my daughters around the house, practicing my photography skills by capturing their smiles, and making Belgian waffles with my husband every Saturday morning.  We attend Vintage Church, and I'm passionate about finding ways to give back, whether it is grabbing food at Caroll's Kitchen or donating furniture to The Green Chair Project.
